All over the world, people are coming together for a brighter and cleaner future. With the help of our global advisory group, the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES) and One Earth are examining how the way we live our daily lives – our choices, habits and the context within which we live – have can have a positive effect on our planet, our communities and our wellbeing both now and in the future.
Until the 15th June we asked for help in learning more about the ongoing efforts toward sustainable lifestyles across the globe. We have now closed the survey and three submissions were selected to join us in New York in July 2018 to present their solution at a United Nations event and a further three will be selected to receive a small grant. Details of the submissions will be shared in due course.
This project, Envisioning Future Low-Carbon Lifestyles and Transitioning Instruments, is a part of the Sustainable Lifestyles and Education Programme of the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production Patterns.
